Silver Trails Scout Reservation offers dens, packs, troops and other groups a wide range of year round outdoor opportunities. The camp is located 15 miles northwest of Port Huron, along the banks of the Black River.  Silver Trails has 285 acres that can be explored and hiked.

The residence Ranger is available to make sure the facilities meet your needs. He will assist you during check-in and out of your campsite or cabin. Please help the Ranger make your camping experience successful by keeping him informed of any facility of camp safety problems.

Silver Trails Features

  • 14 group tent sites, camping 20 - 30 campers with water and pit toilet facilities, can be reserved for $20 per weekend ($40 Out of Council)

  • Modern toilet and shower facilities next to the Kane cabin plus a similar facility near the Rotary Lodge

  • Rotary Lodge (dining hall) with a kitchen can provide meals for up to 125 campers

  • Health lodge with attached nurses' quarters

  • A fleet of 17 canoes with trailers are available for troops or crews for a river outing

  • Adirondacks - These might be described as upgraded, three sided lean-tos with a floor. Each structure has wooden bunks built in that will accommodate 12 campers.
